Ron Thijssen

Ron is an experienced 3PL professional. In the last 30 years he has worked in different fields of logistics, focusing last 10 years on fashion and lifestyle logistics.

At the moment he is Manager Corporate Social Responsibility at Bleckmann, the company he joined 13 years ago. Prior to his CSR Manager position he fulfilled different roles both in sales and operations within the Bleckmann Group.

Bleckmann has a unique position as it focuses on the omnichannel logistics for fashion and lifestyle markets. It has gained strong traction trough it early development of e-fulfillment. Effectively helping its clients making the switch from classical retailing to e-tailing and total retailing in general.

In an ever changing world Bleckmann realizes its impact on community and environment and is working towards a more sustainable future.

Before starting Bleckmann, Ron has had logistics experience in Weert at Transalkim, an international forwarding company specialized in eastern European transport solutions. He was responsible for sales.

Before that he was working for a Dutch Retail Company in consumer electronics. At Horn BV he started his career as trainee and held various operational roles within the company.

Educated in the Netherlands and graduated at the International Logistics Expertise Centre in Venlo.
